Fence Panel Cap is perfect if you are erecting a new fence and are looking for the perfect finishing touch. The capping gives a little extra strength but more importantly stops the water sitting on the top of the featheredge, and looks great.

The caps help to protect the end grain of the posts, which can otherwise be damaged by the sun and rain. A cap and twill cover the tops of the pickets with a piece of trim on each side, and an additional piece of wood, flat, at the very top of the fence. Cap and trim fences may have the trim on one side of the fence, or both. Fence capping is an important part of any fencing project, as it helps to protect your fence against the elements.
