Are there any terms & conditions?

IN GENERAL WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING WITH THE FOLLOWING TERMS

LOCAL DELIVERY – OWN FLEET – ANY ITEM

  • Within a 12 mile radius of our branches
  • Order value between £30 – £150
  • Free delivery over £150

Lead Time: Up to 3 Working Days

LOCAL DELIVERY – OWN FLEET – BULKY ITEMS ONLY

  • Between 12-17 mile radius of our branches
  • Order value under £300
  • Free delivery over £300

Lead Time: Up to 5 Working Days

We do not accept liability for damage caused by our vehicles should they be requested to leave the highway.

All goods must be paid for prior to delivery. Shortages or breakages must be notified to our staff immediately.


Will my goods be shipped via courier?

We manage all deliveries in-house using our own fleet of vehicles, allowing us to maintain full control over the process. This ensures your items arrive on time and in excellent condition, ready for immediate use.


Should I book in advance?

We generally recommend to book your delivery as far in advance as possible to ensure you get the required materials on site for when you need them as our delivery slots book up quickly.

Do you offer timed deliveries?

We are unable to give timed deliveries, however you will now receive a text message to confirm your delivery day.

COLLECTION INFO

Order online and collect at your convenience, completely free of charge. Simply bring your order number to our trade counter and our friendly team will have everything ready and waiting. It really is that easy.

Big job tomorrow? Time is money. Skip the morning run-around by ordering the night before and picking up everything you need first thing, so you can get straight to work without the wait.

Returns

Can I return an item?

Yes, we’ll be pleased to take back any items that are in a resalable condition within 30 days of purchase.

You can arrange collection by emailing us at sales@essextp.co.uk or calling 01702 510246 with your order number and product details.

The return of perishable items including cement, plaster, plasterboard, Cellotex or Pir insulation, all decking products (timber or composite excluding fixings) will not be accepted there is no exception to these products.

Any sheet materials must have been kept undercover and dry these will be inspected on arrival into our warehouse and if any defect s found they will not be eligible for a refund. If collection on one of our vehicles is required we will collect goods and inspect when they arrive at our warehouse and when accepted will be refunded back on the original payment type within 7 days. We reserve the right to charge for collections made on our vehicles to cover driver and fuel costs.

Please note that our minimum charge for this collection service is 15% of the order value and may be more depending on your location and product type, this charge will be at our discretion. Once the products have been returned, you will be refunded within 7 working days.

How do I return a faulty or damaged product?

We’ll be pleased to give you a refund or exchange if you tell us about the problem within 30 days of delivery.
